2019 C.Y.O. Honourary Campers – Jakob & Isaac
Children are at the heart of our mission
During our annual C.Y.O. Children’s Fundraiser – Gala Dinner, we recognize a C.Y.O. camper(s), who has special needs, for their amazing effort and award them the title of Honourary Camper. These young people represent all of the children, in our community, who need our support. This year we are pleased to have Jakob and Isaac McMillan as our 2019 Honourary Campers.
Jakob & Isaac are both 14 years of age and in grade 9 at St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School. Both brothers have attended Camp Marydale since they were 7 years old. This past summer, Jakob participated in our C.I.T. (Counsellor-In-Training) program, while Isaac participated in our new Wilderness Camp for graduates of our One-to-One program.
Thank you from Jakob & Isaac and their family to all those who support the C.Y.O. and there One-to-One program for children with special needs.
Please give children the chance to go to summer camp by sponsoring a child.
The C.Y.O.’s Annual Children’s Fundraiser raises the funds needed each year to make it possible for families and their children to enjoy all the fun and joy of going to camp along with their able-bodied friends.
