United Way SEED Grant Received

We are happy to acknowledge the receipt of a United Way of Halton-Hamilton SEED grant, which will be of great help in the vitally important process of communicating with and understanding our donor community.

Did you know that in an organization such as ours there are thousands of people and businesses and organizations that have donated time, talent, and services to help the Catholic Youth Organization carry out its mission?

Every time a child or youth attends one of our recreational, athletic, or leadership programs imagine an unseen crowd of supporters cheering them on. That’s one way we remember how important our donor community is: by affirming that they are always an important part of our mission.

The United Way SEED Grant is a bold program with a purpose to support capacity building. Capacity building is “the process of building or strengthening the knowledge, skills, resources, cultures, structures or systems needed to achieve a mission.”
